(KSL News) A family narrowly escaped when a car smashed through their Taylorsville home.
Police arrested 26-year old Aaron Ebenal for DUI. Witnesses say he was going about 80 miles an hour when he ran a stop sign and crashed into the condo.

The boy and his mother were sitting on the living room floor. The car missed them by only a couple of feet.
Victor Zamora, Grandfather: "He went right through. No brakes, with no intention of stopping at all."
Tamara Zamora: "He went right through and the walls and my couch stopped him. So he almost killed me and my son."
Damage estimates are between 50 and 60-thousand dollars.
