SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man is robbed after arranging to meet a woman through an alleged dating service.
Salt Lake City police detective Dwayne Baird said a man called Tango Dating and a woman told the victim she would have a friend drive her over.
Baird said when the woman arrived she asked the man if he would pay the driver for gas. The man gave the driver a large bill and asked for change.
The driver said he didn't have change, and the man refused to pay. That's when the driver allegedly grabbed the man, took his checkbook and wallet and drove off with the woman.
