(KSL News) -- A Payson man is dead after fire consumed his apartment
The fire ignited last night. Neighbors noticed smoke coming from the basement apartment. Firefighters responded and put the fire out, that's when the man's body was discovered.
Investigators say it appears the man intentionally started the fire and then shot himself.
The other residents in the apartment building were not hurt, however their apartments suffered water and smoke damage.
