Coco Warner reporting There is some good news with all this extra rain and snow. Skiers and snowboarders are happy this morning because resorts are back in business!
Scott Fetters/ Backcountry Skier: "I was in the desert yesterday and came back home to this an got stuck in the driveway at the lodge. Yeah, it's quite a bit of snow. Pretty cool."
There's more than a foot of fresh snow in the Wasatch Mountains. In an unprecedented move, Snowbird is re-opening today and tomorrow.
This is in addition to the weekend days when Snowbird already planned to be open.
This season Snowbird reports they've gotten 615 inches of snow, the most they've had in a decade.
