(KSL News) -- Police have just solved the mystery behind a disturbing phone message from this afternoon.

"I threw her down on the couch and I blistered her (censored). I blistered her leg, slapped her face, threw her in the corner."

Police didn't know who had made that call, at first, and asked for help. Tonight someone came through.

It appears everything is okay. The girl was found in Tooele and she is safe. A disturbing message was left on an LDS Hospital voicemail. Because of the nature of the voicemail tape everyone was concerned about a young girl named Caitlyn.

We are told it was greatly exaggerated, that it was actually just a spanking.

Sgt. Paul Wimmer: “She’s doing fine. I looked at her myself. There’s not a mark on her.”

The family saw this story on the news and contacted police in an effort to clear the air.

Again, the girl is okay.
