(KSL News) -- The wet weather also caused problems tonight in Draper, not for homes, but for a horse.
A man was out riding his horse when the horse got stuck in some soggy mud. The man tried to free the horse, but eventually had to call for help.

Firefighters managed to get him out by digging trenches around him and then scooping out the excess water with buckets. Animal services also responded to make sure the horse was okay.
Trish Unck, Draper Animal Services: "My main concern was to get the horse up as soon as possible. The longer they're down, more serious problems could happen."
The horse was able to walk out on his own and appears to be fine.
