OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Crews continue to make repairs to a section of a road in Ogden Canyon.
Erosion from the recent rain caused a six-foot section of pipe above Canyon Road to break yesterday.
Authorities said spring rains washed away dirt supporting the pipe, causing it to bear too much weight.
Repairs may be completed by noon today. The Ogden Canyon will be closed until noon while crews work on the road. Alternate routes include North Ogden Divide Road and Trappers Loop.
No homes were threatened yesterday due to the pipe break.
