(KSL News) -- Roughly two thousand Qwest customers still don't have phone service this afternoon.
Crews installing fiber optic network cables cut about eight- thousand phone circuits earlier this week. A replacement cable was flown in from Montana.
Qwest officials say 400 lines will be restored today, with 500 more tomorrow. They expect everyone should have phone service by mid-Saturday.
