(KSL News) -- The Sevier River is closed indefinitely to rafting after a girl almost drowned.

The 17-year old and some friends were on a white water kayaking expedition down the river when she fell in. She hung on to a riverbank until rescue crews got her out.
Authorities are urging caution around high waters this holiday after a boy drowned in Oak Creek in Leeds last night.
