(KSL News) -- Authorities used a taser on a man in Salt Lake County after he ran during a routine traffic stop.
Police pulled a car over on 7th East and 39th South. While they were searching the vehicle Jonathan Fonua ran away with a gun in his hand. Officers chased him into a parking garage, where he held a gun to his head.
Authorities say they had to taser Fonua because he wouldn't get on the ground. Officers eventually arrested Fonua. No one was hurt.
