GREEN RIVER, Wyo. (AP) -- Two Utah men died and a third was seriously injured when a pickup truck veered off Interstate 80.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The 2003 Ford pickup was about six miles west of Green River, headed east, when it veered into the median, swerved back onto the eastbound lanes, then went off the highway's south side and rolled over three times, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Killed were Cody W. Ellertson, 21, and Derrik MigLiacco, 27, both of Plain City, Utah. Malan R. Checketts, 21, also of Plain City, was hospitalized in Rock Springs and then flown to Salt Lake City with serious injuries.
None of the three was wearing a seat belt. Because all three were ejected from the truck, it wasn't immediately clear to the Highway Patrol who was driving.
The cause was being investigated.
