SALT LAKE CITY -- Qwest Communications is holding a job fair Wednesday, Sept. 2 as it looks to fill as many as 200 jobs by the end of 2009.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 250 East 2nd St. South (Bell Plaza Building) in Salt Lake City.

Qwest is looking for 60 full-time customer service and sales positions at its Salt Lake City call center.

The pay is $10 per hour during training, and $11 per hour after successfully completing training.

The additional jobs are available as a result of Qwest bringing additional work into its regional customer contact centers, including the Salt Lake City center and the North Logan center.

Qwest plans to add as many as 200 additional jobs across all of its centers by the end of 2009.
