(KSL News) -- A new non-profit organization wants to help Utah businesses win more customers.
Local First Utah is urging locally-owned companies to join its campaign. It invites businesses to display a decal in their windows saying they are locally-owned. Local First then lists the businesses on its website for customers to view.
The goal is to keep Utah customers buying from Utah businesses.
Josh Ewing, Local First Utah volunteer: "They add uniqueness and character and vibrancy to our community that you simply can't get anywhere else in the country."
Participation in Local First Utah is free.
