(KSL News) -- A crash along Interstate-80 in Parley's Canyon left three people injured.
Authorities say one driver came up on a semi truck and swerved to get around it. That driver then lost control and veered to the left, went across the median, and hit two cars in the eastbound lane, head- on.
The three people involved were transported to the hospital in serious to critical condition.
In another accident this afternoon, a woman was critically injured when she was thrown through the windshield of a van. She and her husband were driving north on I-15 near Lehi when, for some reason, the car veered off the road and struck two trees.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt and suffered head injuries. She was airlifted to the hospital. Her husband, who was driving, had only minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
