SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A federal judge is reconsidering a deadline he set for the F-B-I to find records relating to the death of a Utah man's brother.
A judge granted a temporary stay throwing out a Wednesday deadline set last month while he considers the F-B-I's request to reverse the order.
The judge previously ruled the F-B-I failed to make a good-faith effort to locate records requested by Salt Lake City lawyer Jesse Trentadue. At that time, he gave the agency until June 15th to complete another search.
Trentadue is looking for records connected to the investigation of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, which he believes holds clues to what happened to his brother.
Kenneth Trentadue was found dead in his cell at a federal prison in Oklahoma City in August of 1995. Investigators said he committed suicide. Jesse Trentadue claims authorities killed his brother when things got out of hand during an interrogation.
