(KSL News)-- Salt Lake Police were kept busy by another overnight crash and this time the driver caused some pretty serious damage.
An officer noticed a man driving a van speeding downtown around midnight last night. Police say the driver blew through at least three red lights.

Lt. Zane Swim, SLC Police Dept.: "At that time the officer could tell the car was out of control. He didn't want to stop the vehicle so he terminated his pursuit."
The driver turned a corner, slammed into a red car, causing it to spin two or three times. The van then skidded across a parking lot and hit a house.
It appears the house was abandoned. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The driver of the red car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries but should be okay.
It turns out the van was a rental and the driver was drunk. He's been arrested and is awaiting charges.
