(KSL News) -- A Spanish Fork man is recovering this morning after he nearly drowned in the Spanish Oaks Resevoir.

Police say the 24-year old man was swimming near the center of the resevoir when he all of a sudden started yelling for help.

A father and son heard the screams for help and pulled the victim to shore. When they reached the victim, he was unconscious, but breathing.

He was taken to and treated at the Mountain View Hospital.
