Angie Salisbury plans to walk almost 100 miles over the next three days, as a tribute to her late friend. She began her journey at Memory Grove in Salt Lake, and plans to finish in Payson tomorrow afternoon.

This is the second year Salisbury has taken on her violence walk. She hopes her efforts will heighten awareness on what she says is a growing problem.

Angie Salisbury: The domestic violence it seems to me is getting worse and worse and worse. There's all types of awareness out there-cancer awareness and stuff like that. I just think there needs to be more awareness on domestic violence and abuse."
