Whether you've made out-of-town plans already or plan to stay home over the holiday weekend, there's lots going on around Utah to keep you busy. Why don't you try...

Camping: There are still some sites available at Antelope Island, Green River, Rock Cliff at Jordanelle, Snow Canyon, STarvation, Yuba, and Wasatch campgrounds.

Boating: The lakes are finally full and all ramps at state park reservoirs are open.

City Fireworks Shows: Many cities put on fireworks shows. Some of the most popular are in Logan (Aggie Stadium), Sugarhouse Park, Rice-Eccles Stadium (Salt Lake), Lavell Edwards Stadium(Provo). For specifics on what your city is doing to celebrate, go to www.Utah.gov and search for your city. A list is also available from the Deseret News.

Visit the Zoo: Hogle Zoo is hosting the Twilight Ticket Summer Concert Series.

Music: Go to the symphony for uplifting, patriotic music.

Sports: Both the Salt Lake Stingers and Real Salt Lake are playing home games on the fourth. Go support your local baseball or soccer team.

Movies: Go see a movie. 'War of the Worlds' or 'Star Wars', 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' or 'Bewitched'? There are plenty to see and plenty of theatres to suit your preference and timetable.
