(KSL News) -- A man is recovering in the hospital after being pinned under his truck.
Witnesses say the man was driving along North Temple near 19th West, when for no apparent reason, he hit a curb and crashed into the pole.

The impact knocked the pole about 15 feet and tipped the truck over.
Rex Headd, Rescued Victim: "When we got here the truck was on its roof and he was kind of hanging out the window with the truck smashing him on the ground. About ten of us rolled the truck back over on top, and that's when he started breathing again."
Witnesses say it didn't look like the man was speeding. Police are investigating.
