HURRICANE, Utah (AP) -- Police say four teens confessed to the flag-burning incident at the Hurricane American Legion on the Fourth of July.
Hurricane Police Chief Lynn Excell said the four ranged from 15 to 17 years of age. Three of them are from Hurricane and one is from Virgin.
Excell says the juveniles didn't give any motive for burning the flag.
Authorities said the teens burned a five-by-seven-foot flag in the middle and then hung it back up on the flagpole at the American Legion building.
