SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A newspaper is reporting this morning that President Bush could be making a return trip to Salt Lake City.
The Salt Lake Tribune says Bush is tentatively scheduled to speak at a national Veterans of Foreign Wars convention. The five-day conference is set to start August 20th at the Salt Palace.
Neither the White House nor the veteran's group would confirm the presidential visit, but a spokesman for the veterans' organizations says Bush has been invited to speak.
Because events changes so often, the White House only releases the president's schedule a week ahead of time.
The president's only other trip to Utah was to attend the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
