(KSL News) -- A Utah inmate is on the run after escaping while being transported to the state prison.
Authorities say 44-year old Edward Leroy Orr was handcuffed and awaiting transfer when an Adult Probation and Parole officer "told him to wait in front of the control room."
When that officer turned around Orr was gone. He's still loose, and has been charged with escape from official custody.
A warrant is out for Orr's arrest. He was put behind bars for a series of convictions in 2001.
