(KSL News) -- Provo City announced today two internet service providers are joining its I-Provo project.
Provo developed the fiber optic system to provide broadband, digital cable and phone services to its citizens by constructing the network.
However, the number of customers who have signed up for the service has not met expectations and its first provider, Home Net has withdrawn its involvement in the public-private partnership.
Today Provo announced two replacement companies. Veracity Communications and M-Star will be I-Provo's new retail partners.
