SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Samples of blood, urine and hair have been taken from an 18-year-old woman being investigated in the dumping of the body of a drug-overdose victim.
Court documents filed yesterday said the samples were taken from MaCall Petersen, at whose Draper home 18-year-old Sorich had consumed a mix of cocaine and heroin on June 25th.
The documents said Petersen and 19-year-old Jasen Calacino found Sorich unconscious, put her on a couch, fell asleep and awoke to find her dead.
The documents allege Petersen got rid of heroin and syringes from Sorich's purse, and Calacino allegedly put the body in her car.
The filing alleges Petersen and Calacino drove to Bountiful Canyon, and Calacino put the body behind a bush and covered it with dirt.
Sorich's body was found June 27th.
