(KSL News) -- The concentration of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah is decreasing.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports over the next three years Utah will have its lowest percentage ever of church residents versus the genereal population.
If the trend continues, by 2030, church members will no longer be the majority population.
Pam Perlich of the University of Utah's Bureau of Economic and Business Research office says jobs, not religion, are the main reason people now move to Utah.
