It was last year, August 20th, that 12-year-old Garrett walked alone back to his scout camp, but never made it.
Kevin Bardsley: "We feel we could probably spend out whole lives searching for Garrett."
It's been a tough year for the family.
Kevin Bardsley: "It goes in waves, it comes and goes. Recently celebrated his 13th b-day, 24th of July... That was a hard day for our family."
But the family is hoping this weekend will bring closure. They hope that they will find his body, but if they don’t…
Kevin Bardsley: "Then we're going to turn it over to the lord, and he's going to have to show us next."
