(KSL News) -- Traffic was snarled on I-15 this afternoon when a crane caught fire.

The crane was on its way back from a construction site where it had been for the last six months.
Other drivers began waving at the driver to tell him the crane was on fire, so he pulled off the freeway to get as far away from traffic as he could.
No one was hurt, but fire destroyed the crane.
