Greg Neft Reporting Winter weather elsewhere meant some Christmas gifts didn't make it under the tree here in time.
All that snow in Denver meant delays for some of Salt Lake's holiday mail operations.
Ron Hubrich, Postal Service spokesman: "We didn't get the packages here so we couldn't deliver them."
It wasn't just air mail that was impacted.
Ron Hubrich: "Trucks that come directly out of Denver or trucks that were coming from Chicago and other areas back east just couldn't make it across the roads."
Hubrich says there's still some catching up to do.
Ron Hubrich: "We got the bulk of those packages that were delayed out to the offices so there is still some trickle effect from that."
The good news is if your holiday package was delayed, you should get it today.
