SALT LAKE CITY -- Your commute home might soon be a little more convenient, thanks to some new traffic signs.

On Monday, crews were out installing the new hybrid signs in downtown Salt Lake City. Using traffic sensors embedded on the highway, the signs will update drivers with up to the minute travel times and help them decide which route to take.

The signs are located at 400 South and 500 South--westbound, prior to 300 West--and northbound on 300 West prior to North Temple.
