(KSL News) -- A woman accused of killing her step-daughter now also faces drug charges.
Police say Angela Andrews tested positive for methamphetamines during a drug screening at the Davis County jail. She told officers the drugs were smuggled in by another inmate. Three other inmates also tested positive for the drug.
Andrews is in the jail awaiting trial on charges of -murder and sexual abuse of a child in connection with the death of 10-year-old Shelby Andrews earlier this year.
Andrews husband Ryan pleaded guilty to first-degree murder yesterday in connection with his daughter's death.
