So, how do you have fun at the party without being too embarrassed to show up for work the next day? We spoke with Employer's Council CEO Monica Whalen to get some pointers.
Christmas parties have a tendency to bring out the naughty instead of the nice. Whalen says if someone at your Christmas party says you've had enough to drink, believe them. Matter of fact, she says there are a few warning signs.
Employer's Council CEO Monica Whalen: "It's a red flag when if your wife's giving you the evil eye, or one of your co-workers says, 'Hey, I think you really need to tone it down.'"
Whalen says, above all costs, avoid the proverbial "standing on the table with a lampshade on your head."
