SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A woman accused in the death of a pregnant woman last year at a Salt Lake City motel has entered a plea.
Yesterday, 33-year-old Kerri Dawn Armant pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree aggravated robbery in connection to the shooting death of 30-year-old Darla M. Woundedhead last August at the Dream Inn motel.
Authorities say Woundedhead was caught in the crossfire when a drug rip-off planned by Armant and four others went bad.
Doctors performed an emergency C-section to save Woundedhead's baby girl, who currently remains in a vegetative state.
Armant's sentencing is set for February 5th. She faces up to life in prison.
