(KSL News/AP) -- A preliminary report indicates no foul play in the death of a 25-year-old woman missing in eastern Utah for six days.

Kimberly Turney's body was found yesterday afternoon near Jensen, less than a mile from where her car was found on fire November 17th.

Officials aren't speculating about Kimberly Turney's cause of death. However, they say that there is no evidence to suggest foul play.

Lt. John Larson, Uintah Sheriff's Dept.: "Preliminary results from the medical examiner do not indicate foul play. The final cause of death will not be determine until the toxicology test have been obtained."

A release from the Uintah County Sheriff's office this afternoon says it appears Turney walked away from the crash scene to the place where her body was found.

The final cause of death will not be determined until toxicology tests are completed by the state medical examiner. Authorities in Uintah County also said they found prescription drugs near Turney's body.

They've blocked off the road leading up to the hill where volunteers found Turney's body yesterday. The body was found 7/10th of a mile from the where her car was found.

"The vehicle appeared to have been involved in an accident. ... The battery came loose. That's what started the fire," Larson said.

It has been a tense day in Jensen, a small community near Vernal, as friends and family criticized authorities, upset more wasn't being done to investigate Turney's death.

But mostly they expressed grief and loss.

Jamie Davies, Friend: "She was fun, she was magnetic, a lot of charisma, there's really no words."

Police also deny earlier reports from citizens that the body appeared to have been moved from another location to where it was found. They say evidence found while conducting their investigation in daylight hours proves the remains had been at that location since shortly after the car accident.

Turney disappeared a week ago today. Her car was found off Redwash Road, on fire. Since then, crews have walked the area, searched on ATVs and by air. Detective Kevin Orr was killed in a helicopter crash looking for the young woman.

Officials have said that Turney's body was not in the kind of shape that would indicate she had injuries from a car wreck.
