SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A 13-year-old boy could soon face legal troubles after police say he was caught with a BB gun at school.
Yesterday, Salt Lake City police detained the teenage boy after they say he was found carrying the gun in his waistband while at Northwest Middle School.
Police say a witness reportedly saw the boy take the gun from some bushes by the school and then go inside.
Officials say the middle school was under lock down yesterday while authorities searched the building room by room.
Police say the boy will likely face charges of carrying a dangerous weapon in school.
