(KSL News) At least two people are injured in what appears to be a serious car accident on Bangerter Highway.
We don't have details of how it happened, but apparently six cars are involved in the wreck near the intersection of Bangerter and 7200 South.
We understand two people-- a woman and a child-- are injured and have been taken to the hospital by helicopter.
Bangerter Highway southbound is closed by 72nd South. Traffic is being turned around, so cars that were southbound are now heading north.
A number of fire trucks and ambulances are still on the scene. The highway may be closed southbound for some time while the debris and vehicles are cleared.
