SYDNEY, Nov 14, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Kylie Minogue's comeback tour proved short-lived after the exhausted Australian singer recently pulled out of a second show with the rock group U2.
Citing personal exhaustion as the cause, the 38-year-old pulled out of her second show in as many days with the Irish rock group in order to recuperate from the strain of her resumed "Showgirl Homecoming" tour in Sydney, said Spotlightingnews.com.
The "Body Language" singer had just re-launched the Australian leg of the tour after spending the last 18 months battling breast cancer.
"Kylie called Bono to explain that she had worn herself out," a source said of the communication between Minogue and the U2 lead singer. "She is really feeling the physical effects of her return to the stage."
"It wasn't a problem at all. Everyone realizes Kylie is putting herself through the mill for the tour," added the source.
The Web site said that Minogue has openly admitted that she is not the same person she was prior to her cancer treatment and has to act accordingly while out on tour.
