(KSL News) A storm brings snow to the mountains and mostly rain to the valleys. That meant a slow commute for many motorists this morning.

Mountains and canyons got the brunt of the storm. Earlier this morning roads were snow packed through Parley's Canyon, also through Weber Canyon. Alta reports a foot of snow already.

The storm dumped mostly rain on the valley floors. Motorists were warned of standing water on some areas of the interstates.

Southbound I-15 slowed to a crawl through Centerville due to a couple of accidents in Davis County. An earlier wreck was reported on I-80 heading into Parley's Canyon. That has since been cleared.

An accident at 6200 South and Redwood Road caused at least 15 minutes in delays. That accident has been cleared also.
