(KSL News) Voters passed a sales-tax hike for transportation, now an anti-transit group is speaking out.
The local anti-transit group wants the increased sales tax revenue to fund roads, not light rail or commuter rail.
The group believes transit is a waste of money and does nothing to relieve traffic congestion.
The Salt Lake County Council, along with mayors, will decide which projects receive the funds.
Tuesday legislators will begin discussing how to choose which projects are selected.
