KSL Newsradio's Randall Jeppesen reportingPolice say they still haven't found the parents of a dead baby that was left in an orchard near Payson, but they now have issued a warrant for their arrest.

Lt. Darren Gilbert says they still don't have the medical examiner's report back on the baby's body and they need that information before making a decision on charging the young parents with murder. But They have gone forward with some charges.

"Warrants were issued for desecration of a human body, which is a third-degree felony in the state of Utah" he says.

The parents are believed to be in Mexico, and with this warrant, if they come back across the border, they'll at least be arrested and sent back to Utah. Everything seems to be hanging on the results of the autopsy.
