(KSL News) New reports this morning say before Laura Hauck was murdered, her accused killer-- her son Jeremy-- wrote about committing a murder and getting away with it.
In a copyrighted story, the Deseret Morning News reports one of Jeremy Hauck's teachers remembers him writing the paper for an English assignment. The topic? If you could do something with no repercussions, what would it be?
Hauck wrote about committing a murder.
Investigators want the report because it could become evidence against Hauck, but Hauck's English teacher says she returned the report to Hauck.
Investigators are now searching a computer from his mother's home to find a file of the essay.
Hauck is in the Davis County jail charged with his mother's murder.
