WEST JORDAN -- Police are searching for guns stolen off of a grounded Utah National Guard helicopter.

The guns were positioned on a monument at the Jake Garn Armory at Airport No. 2. Police and the Utah National Guard are still trying to figure out how and when they were taken.

The machine guns pose no threat to the public since they were merely a decoration, but the National Guard would still like them back.
