(KSL News) -- Two traffic accidents happened just blocks apart this morning.
At 90th South and 700 West, a truck and an SUV collided as they passed through the intersection.
The driver of the SUV had to be extricated and the Life Flight helicopter was been called out to transport him the hospital.
Earlier, a 60-year-old woman's car was hit by a semi truck at 90th South and State Street.
The truck failed to yield to the sedan as they both went through the intersection.
The woman was been taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
