(KSL News) Black ice may have caused a serious crash on Highway 89 near Kaysville Friday night.
Kaysville police say a Toyota Tacoma was headed south around 10:30 p.m. when the driver lost control on the icy pavement near Crestwood Road and shot across the street into oncoming traffic.
Another truck T-boned the Tacoma and caused it to roll.
The driver and passenger in the Tacoma went to the hospital in serious condition, as did the driver of the other truck.
The accident shut down the highway for several hours.
