CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- The woman accused in the shooting of her mother now faces charges.
Nineteen-year-old Lakota Plexico has been charged with first-degree attempted murder in the shooting of her mother in the face.
Yesterday, she made her first court appearance.
Police say Plexico shot her 51-year-old mother with a 45-caliber handgun.
Officers say Leslie Talbert survived and is now in fair condition at University Hospital. Meanwhile, the teen remains in jail with bail set at 50-thousand dollars.
