(KSL News) -- A father and son reported missing in Davis County's Mueller Park Canyon were found safe. A search helicopter spotted Randy and Jonathan Baird this afternoon.
The family says Randy Baird took his son Johnathan camping by horseback Saturday morning and they did not return Sunday night.
The family called the Davis County Sheriff's Office for help. Search teams found the pair, and say while they were leaving, the father fell off his horse, and the horse fell on top of him.
A medical helicopter took him to the hospital when he complained of hip pains. Deputies expect he will recover.
