The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling almost 53-thousand B-M-X bicycles made by Dynacraft Industries.
The stem joints on the bicycles could loosen causing the rider to lose control and fall.
The recall involves two models of 20-inch B-M-X bicycles: Metallic Green with model number 8535-99 and the Vertical Steel Blue with model number 8527-99.
Owners are asked to return the bike to the store where it was purchased.
