(KSL News) -- Hundreds of thousands of Ford Minivans are being recalled after US officials found the rear seats could dislodge in a crash.

Ford Motor company plans to replace the third and second row seat latches on some 343-thousand Windstars. The recall is on vans manufactured in 2001 to 2003.

The company says it has not received any complaints, but is conducting the recall based on recent tests by the National Transportation Safety Board.

If you own the recalled minivan, you should receive a notice in the mail later this month.
