(KSL News) -- Wal-Mart today announced the recall of more than one million slow cookers.
The slow cookers were made by General Electric and sold exclusively through Wal-Mart from August of 2000 to December of 2002.
According to the recall, the handles on the base of the unit can break, posing a burn hazard.
Consumers can return the cookers to Wal-mart for a replacement base.
