Players from UM, Weber State honored by Big Sky

HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- Guards from the University of Montana and Weber State share this week's Big Sky Conference men's basketball player of the week award.

Anthony Johnson of Montana averaged 25 points and three assists per game in two weekend wins.

Johnson, a junior from Tacoma, Wash., scored a career-high 32 points as Montana rallied to beat NAU 62-61 on Thursday. He followed that with 18 points, four assists, two rebounds and a steal in an 80-63 win over Sacramento State.

Kellen McCoy of Weber State averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and a steal in a weekend sweep.

McCoy, a senior from Norman, Okla., had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists in Weber State's 80-66 upset of Portland State Thursday. The Wildcats beat Eastern Washington 77-69.
